We adopted Keifer from a shelter, they found him on the side of the road. At the shelter they had named him Keifer because she "just liked the name" (he had been at the shelter for about 3 months) we didn't really like this name, so we wanted to find something that meant baby lion, due to him being so fluffy and having a mane like look to him. We found that, in Hebrew, Kefir (yes, spelling is a little different) means young lion. This is how Keifer got his name, and it fits him perfectly!!
