Lightning forks from dark storm clouds in the western sky in northeast Cedar Rapids just before 10:00 PM Friday, July 23, 2010. The lightning was part of a two-wave storm system that blew through Cedar Rapids last night. This capture was a time exposure of about 20 seconds at f/7.1.
