I had my weather radar going at the time and I was watching TV as well. The thing I didn't do was look outside at the sky, Once I did I was socked to see the clouds change from dark blue to green. My first thought was there is going to be large hail and maybe a tornado, As I was thinking about all that the weather radio I have went off saying "Severe Thunderstorm Warning" . After hearing that I thought I should go out and storm spot (I am a trained weather spotter).
