A shelf cloud advanced on the city of Hiawatha, Iowa just after noon on Friday, June 18, 2010.
These two photos were taken from Fay Clark Park in the city. Heavy rains and lightning ensued as the storm blew through, but wind speeds never exceeded 40 mph at this particular location.
