The photo was taken looking due south from West Union on June 5 at 1:30 AM. I believe the storm was near the Missouri border. I was even able to get a few stars.

Reply to Photocurious: I speed up my ISO speed to 1000 to 3000. Set my aperature at 5 to 6 and my focus to infinity. Then take about a 5-10 second exposure. Beware, the longer the exposure, the more "noise", and the dots become streaks.
