I was taking pictures off the deck of our porch looking south, when this bolt struck.

I have a Canon Rebel Xsi (450D) with a remote for the shutter, but pretty much any DSLR with manual shutter control will get good results for night photography.

What were your settings on this shot? I love how you caught that bolt on the left of the pic and got it to appear like it did compared to the center one. Great job.

CabinGurlCR - The settings for this shot: Exposure - 4 Sec (BULB with remote) F-Stop - F/10 ISO - 200 I used the kit 18-55mm lens.
