Central City, IA is one of Linn County's well kept secrets! It is the home of the Waspi River and the Linn County Fair!! This town is full of wonderful people and great attractions! The Linn County Fair is held this year from July 7-12th this year were the fair theme is "GOT FAIR?" Fairgrounds is located right outside of Central City city limits. Fairgrounds is home of many FREE family fun events, FREE Parking and FREE gate (one of only a few fair left to have no parking or gate fees!!!). The fair is home to 4-H & Open livestock events, free bands, kids day, country concerts (Bellamy Brothers), rock concerts (TBA!!!!), Truck and Tractor Pulls, Draft Horse Pulls, Chuck Wagon Races (you have to see these), and so much more!!
