Over two hours behind the expected 10:00 AM arrival, the convoy of busses passed through the busy downtown Dubuque intersection to cheers, festive music, flag waving, and more than a few tears. Citizens lined the Highway 20 corridor, on overpasses, along busy streets, in front of local businesses, to show their respect for those who serve.
