A Northeast Cedar Rapids neighborhood park is getting a facelift. City workers are finishing up a project that adds a paved path from the main park entrance to the playground at Huntington Ridge Park. Workers also installed a new drinking fountain. Neighborhood families are happy that they'll now be able to push strollers and ride bikes to the playground throughout the warm weather seasons. The spring thaw and rains throughout the year make the crushed rock path a little too soft for wheels. Huntington Ridge Park is located on C Avenue and between Huntington Ridge Road and Sheffield Drive in Northeast Cedar Rapids.
