Our 1920s homestead on the Old Lincoln Highway (Mt. Vernon Road towards Mt. Vernon) was encapsulated in a thick layer of winter frost last Saturday, February 13. The trees and shrubs made it picture perfect. The frost didn't last, but these photos might remind us of the beauty of winter even though we sometimes pine for warmer weather.
