I was getting ready to take a bush down in my yard yesterday when my daughter discovered a birds nest. Upon further investigation we were quite shocked to find four little babies that looked to be no more than a few days old. They only have a little fuzz on them right now. It turned out to be a pretty lucky Friday the 13th for these babies and their mom. Obviously, now the bush is staying up a bit longer. In this picture one of the little ones is expecting something good to eat! Note: We did NOT touch the babies or the nest. The mother is still coming back to them regularly.
