Average Joe he is spending his money to redo this building to rent out the spaces later. That is how he is going to be making his money back. You can doubt all you want, the truth is you DON"T know anything about this. Keep Talking!!!!

Jeremy does a wounderful job, plus he is trying to help the work force of Washington to bring in more jobs, good job Jeremy

So you guys think he is paying out of his own pocket in order to move this building? Ummmmmm, highly doubt it. A company does not move a building unless they see it profitable. How is spending your own money a profitable business?

Not only is he doing something good, he is hiring local workers. By the time this project is over he will have provided 14,000 to 20,000 hours of work to local companies. I think what he is doing is commendable. Good Job Jeremy!!! Keep it up !

Hey it is his money I don't see him on here telling you how to spend yours. Quit being so hateful just because someone is doing something for the betterment of Washington instead of just talking about what "they" would do.

building is being saved. It is also saving the people of Washington the $300,000 dollars it was going to cost them to demolish it. Please don't waste your time being negative keep your bad attitudes to yourself.

Really? Jeremy Patterson is paying for this not you. Any upfront money that was given to him is a % of his future taxes. It is an econimical growth fund that any developer can apply for. Why must you all be so negative. This is something good a

it is a waste. a huge waste of my time. I live in the area where the building is being moved from. It is really annoying when it takes 15 mins to get around the block to leave your house because everyone wants to sit around staring at it moving 2 mph

I think once the project is done and the building is remodeled you guys will love it. Dont be a "negative nancy".

If this town was going to save some real history. We should have saved the old hospital. It had some real importance in our town and most people would have to admit the first country hospital in the USA was more important.

I agree... total waste of money and I certainly don't want to see that eyesore downtown. The building has been in horrible shape for years. Just another risky building downtown. I certainly wouldn't locate my business in there!

may he thinks that small house sitting in front of his building is a landmark also i can not believe the city lets it sit there nice to see something like that as your first impression coming into town
says ... on Wednesday, Feb 24 at 5:20 AM
What a huge waste of money.......... If he considers that building a landmark, then I wonder where he is going to move the old calendar factory.

Its no dumber that the Mainstreet America theme downtown. Lets pretty up the downtown to make the second hand stores look good. Plus, GRAVEL in the median on one side of the square? Lets focus on issues not cosmetic fixes.

While I admit this is a very awesome thing to see...I wonder why? This is an old building...vacant for years. Nothing neat about it that I see...no neat architecture... 2 million would have built a nice new building. Guess we need to follow the $.
