Pumpkin Races at the Olifest

On september 26th West Branch, Ia celebrated their 2nd annual Oilfest. The name Olifest come from the street it takes place on which is Oliphant st. This event invites everyone in the neighborhood to come out and celebrate the beginning of fall. There is awesome food, live music, and plenty of activities for the kids. Such activities included a scavanger hunt, a doughnut eatting contest and the pumpkin race. For the pumpkin race every kid gets a pumpkin and they race it down the hill until the pumpkins break. Its also just a good way to wear the kids down and have them burn off some energy :)
