Heartland Community Church in North Liberty, Iowa held a ground breaking ceremony on Sunday, September 13 following regular services. The ceremony marked the start of phase one of a two phase 12,000 sq. ft. facility on their 4-acre lot. The church will feature a worship area, classrooms, office space and childcare rooms. Heartland Community Church was started in North Liberty in November 2002 and has grown in size to over 200 regular attendees. The church currently meets for worship services in office space behind the North Liberty Pharmacy. The new building is being built at 70 S. Kansas, North Liberty.
