This was 6/12/08. The flood waters were surrounding our house and making the creek behind it surge over it's banks.

This was a terrible time. My Mom lost her home and most everything in it. It was amazing to see the volunteers and neighbors helping each other. After the water destroyed so very much. A wonderful sense of community and humanity rose up.
