Streets Flood in Waukon

Due to todays heavy rain over the county, some streets in Waukon Iowa were flooded. in this case at the corner of 5th avenue NE and third street NE. The flood waters were high enough that the water was starting to over flow the curbs. The water also was reported on Rossville road in some sections. floods were just happened durring the downpour and waters went away after 10 minnutes. water at that level though is still enough to stall your car and leave you stranded in a giant puddle just goes to show you never drive in flooded streets ever
