On August 8th, 2009, a brutal storm with winds excelling up to 75 mph swept through the midwest flooding regions such as Waterloo, Iowa while instilling the fear of tornadoes among other locals in surrounding areas. When the storm hit Oxford, the Anderson family peered out their windows and stood outside as the front crept closer towards their country home. Jessica, 17, quickly grabbed her camera to capture the action. However, as the storm grew nearer the family was forced to seek shelter. All in all the fierce weather took its course and there was no damage in the Oxford area.
