Well, Gizmo is about 5 years old. I first saw in him and his brother in a pet store in Cedar Rapids. They were not baby ferrets, the were about a year and a half old. We talked to the pet store owner and he said he would not sell them separately anymore because they have been together since babies. He said no one was looking for older ferrets, everyone wanted a baby ferret. We decided that although a baby ferret would be cute we could give these ferrets a life outside of being stuck in a cage. We took them home and started our ferret family. Gizmo is 1 of 7 of our fuzzy little friends now. He seem to pose for pictures more than the others. He is the most laid back friendly ferret. He loves to give kisses and if you live in the Cedar Rapids area you have probably seen him following along beside me at many of our different parks. Although ferrets live approximately 7 years he is still young at heart.
