July 2008 we adopted two flood surrender dogs that became part of our family immediately. We were in search of two special dogs that would get along with our two cats and we found them with help from Petco and Last Hope Animal Rescue. Shelby, the golden is great with the grand daughter and loves people. Grizz, the Akita is a big teddy bear and loves to lay on the deck and watch the deer. They all get along beautifully, just as we'd hoped.
