Lassie the herding wonder

best dog ever

Lassie was sort of a rescue dog. She lived in a barn, she was thin, filthy dirty, and covered in burrs and ticks. It took us 4 hours of bathing, cutting, and combing to get her looking and feeling better. We think we gave her a better life and she repays that debt every day. She herds the kids there is no running jumping, or screaming in our house. She would give our son one of her bones when he cried and lick him, no one is allowed to get rough with our kids even in play, she will bark, and get in the middle, and if you are out of line you get a soft nip. she says "play nice" in her own way.
