Isabella, Izzy or Bella for short, got her name because she came from Mexico alllll the way back to Iowa! She's very playful and devastatingly adorable!
Me and a couple friends went to Texas for spring break this year, our last stop for a couple days was South Padre to party on the beach at spring break central. While we were there we went down to Mexico for an afternoon to do some shopping and get some good margaritas. One of the Vet clinics across the border had a big cage full of Maltepoo puppies for sale, me and my friend debated the whole time we were there if we would be able to get one back across the border since we weren't familiar with the laws, and got all the right paperwork picked out a puppy to save her from mexico and got her! The lady at the clinic said she was bilingual because they talked to them in english and spanish, so I thought it fitting to name her Isabella.
We got her back across the border no problem, and took her to South Padre beach the next afternoon so she wouldn't have to be at the motel alone. She ended up being the star of the party as every 5 feet we made it through the crowd a bunch more girls would swarm us asking to pet her and take pictures, then she fell asleep in the shade inside my beach bag. The next day we brought her the whole 25 hours in the car back to Iowa to her new home, a long trip for such a small puppy! She's very happy and healthy, and loves to play. Unfortunately she know's that she is so cute and uses it to get what she wants!
