On our way home just be for dusk June 20 2009, we noticed a hot air balloon flying very low over a residential area of Marion. We (The Steffen Family) stopped to watch, along with may others that happened to be driving in the area. It looked like it was coming down for a landing, so I drove to the only place we could think of that it would be able to land; The Marion Pool Parking Lot. We got it right so here is the photo my wife Janet took with our cell phone (sorry we didn't have a good camera with us). Our two children (Samantha & Allison) loved watching the hot air balloon land.
