The accident call came in at 2:01 a.m. The tree the car hit is in front of 1421 Hawthorne Ave, the car came to rest in front of 1425 Hawthorne Ave and the driver's family lives at 1427 Hawthorne. (between Hammond Av and 11th Street). The 21 year old diver was taken to Covenant Hospital. A female passenger died at the scene.
