The 2009 Southern Wisconsin AirFest hosted a wide verity of performers such as the US Navy Blue Angels and the US Army Golden Knights topping the Military performances list. But also performing this year where the USAF F-16 East Coast Demo Team, The US Navy Leap Frogs Parachute Team, Patty Wagstaff flying her Extra 300S, Michael Wiskus flying his LUCAS Oil and GEICO sponsored Pitts S1-11B Aerobatic Aircraft, Greg Poe flying his FAGEN Ethanol Mx-2, Susan Dacy flying her Super Stearman biplane. If you are interested in Seeing the Blue Angels this year in Iowa head to the Davenport Municipal Airport on June 20-21 for the Quad City Airshow where the Blue Angels are the headline act.

Blue Angels rock! The QCAS is definitely worth the hour drive and the $15 for each ticket. If you want to see Susan Dacy and others a little closer to home there's a airshow July 11th at the Independence Airport and admission is free!
