Waterloo PD and Waterloo FD were called to a single vehicle rollover at Hammond Av and San Marnan. The vehicle went over a culvert and dropped about ten feet landing on it's top in about six inches of water.

When the ambulance arrived the driver of the vehicle, Christopher Shannon, 26, was standing outside his vehicle and his only complaint was that he was cold. No other occupants were in the car at the time of the accident.

Shannon was transported to Covenant Hospital in Waterloo where he was treated and released.
