Taking advantage of the nice weather, my friend and I went for a stroll around Cedar Lake. We started noticing large turtles, near the shore, all dead.
We counted more than 25 in all. A man we talked to said he thouht the turtles had died because, without the nearby steam, the lake wasn't warm enough for them to survive.
I guess the turtles are yet another victim of the flood of 2008.

From the looks of it, I would guess it to be a soft shell turtle>

Do you happen to know what type of turtle this is?? One just died today near my house and I cannot identify it!
