You've heard about the old song 'Turkey in the Straw' but have you heard of Turkeys in a Tree?

On a cold a blustery Saturday afternoon (01-17-09) I looked out into our back yard and saw a flock of turkeys up in and under one of our trees. They were eating (and knocking onto the ground) the berries still hanging on the branches of the tree. Some of the turkeys were pretty good size and to see a bird that big land in that small tree was a sight to behold. They "lunched" for about 20 minutes and then rambled on into the adjacent corn field and over the hill.
