I just received this information today(Friday) so if you want to brave the weather Saturday, January 10th,...

Dysart is hosting a chess tournament open to chess players of all skill levels under the age of 19. This tournament is unrated and you do not have to be a member of the United States Chess Federation to play.

Bring a regulation tournament chess set and clock, if you have them. Some sets are available to use but no extra clocks will be.

Location is at the Norma Anders Public Library, Learning Center, 320 Main St. PO Box 519, Dysart, IA 52224. Dysart is located 20 miles south of Waterloo on Highway 21 and about 10 miles North of Highway 30. For more information call Lee Gordon Seebach at (319) 961-0525

Registration and check-in from 9:00 am to 9:45am. Round one will begin at 10:00am. Entry fee is $7
