Blizzard Snow Drift

Rebekah Williams took this picture of her two brothers. They are standing on top of one of the many snow drifts outside her home. This snow drift is as tall as the big gray van in the background. This Picture was taken out side of Clutier IA at 4:41pm 12/21/08.

Excuse Me! I am from Clutier and think that it is the best little town in IOWA! How dare you say somethin like that about our little town. That is horrible!

You both may have truth. But as a kid growing up in the 70's it seemed we had major drifts, snowfalls, and blizzards all the time. I still like them just as much.

That is definitely Clutier - proven by the multiple vehicles parked in the yard. Chances are that only 1 actually runs.

Perhaps when you were a kid, that same drift would have seemed twice as high because you were half as tall !

That small dusting of snow?? Why, in my day, our snow piles were twice as tall as the van,......and we didn't even have cars to measure the heights of drifts with!!
