Christmas Spirit Won over the Flood

This is our house in Palo,IA. This will be our first Christmas in it also. We built this house our selves in 2007. We where also effected by the Flood of 2008. A lot of hard work and rework, great friends,neighbors and Great Spirits in Palo and Cedar Rapids that got us through this (Yes- the house is completly fixed and re-done). Life is a learning curve, sometimes it doesn't make sense or something we agree to, but you have to keep going with a positive atitude. Even though the summer was a lose, we had to at least show our Christmas Spirit and put some lights out. Theres over 6,500 lights outside and the displays outside where made by ny wife. Enjoy the view and Merry Christmas to all.
