Author performance and signing!
Mr. Peter Yarrow, world famous folk singer
and guitarist of the Peter, Paul and Mary trio, is
arriving at Barnes & Noble booksellers on
Wednesday night, December 10th at 7:00 p.m.
Cedar Rapids is very privileged to have him as a
guest because we are the only state to receive a visit
from him – at his request! He will be promoting his
two newest books, which are collections of songs, each containing a CD featuring Mr. Yarrow’s voice
in song along with his daughter, Bethany.
These 2 new releases, along with his earlier
book, Puff the Magic Dragon, a plush, green toy
dragon and a floor puzzle will be available to
purchase at the Sunday, St. Joseph’s Barnes &
Noble book fair. If you purchase your books on
Sunday, the school will receive credit and then, a
stop at Barnes & Noble on Wednesday night would
get an autograph for your items!
Art work from St. Joseph students will be
hanging in the store as decoration for Mr. Yarrow’s
visit. We thank all of the talented artists for help
with the display. Wednesday night should be a fun
adventure. We hope to see all of you there!
