It's all about kids for Christmas and I always want to get them what they want but they have learned to be the ones giving. My son signed up to make an Amana traditional Christmas Pyramid and when he finished the class he brought home this beautiful piece of craftmanship. He was 13 and loves working with wood. He asked my wife how he should paint it and they decided it could be an all year pyramid if not painted. My wife was hoping she was going to be blessing the house with it but instead my son wanted to give it to his grandparents. My wifes family has a tradition of trying to get the gift that makes Mom cry but this year the grandson won. That same year my daughter was trying to help grandpa with the tree and was right there in his way. I would have grabbed her and put her out of the way but Grandpa's do it best with an audience and he patiently worked around her curiosity. It was a sight for everybody to see.
