Had a wonderful opportunity to get out to see the Iowa Interstate run a freight excursion from Iowa City to Rock Island. This freight excursion was to set a tonnage record in the 21st Century.

Later in the day the units were used for passenger excursions to Silvis, IL and Walcott, IA. Proceeds from the excursions are to go to help flood victims.
