BURNELL FAMILY BENEFIT
APOSOLIC ASSEMBLY OF ANAMOSA
HWY 151 IN ANAMOSA
SIERRA'S BIRTHDAY SAT SEPT 27TH
FROM 4PM-7PM
You may have noticed posters hanging around town, announcing the Burnell Family Benefit Dinner. While some of you may have been blessed in knowing Sierra Burnell personally. Some may have just seen her around, and for those of you who never got the opportunity to meet Sierra; she was a one of a kind. She was a very likable individual who loved life and loved people. Sierra Burnell was born Sept. 27th 1991 and passed away suddenly before her seventh birthday on July 22, 2008.
Sierra moved to Monticello from Cedar Rapids during her freshman year in high school. She moved in with the Mr. And Mrs. Jack Werling family until she was able to reunite with her mother, Tina Burnell. While attending Monticello High School, Sierra was involved in choir, Business Professionals of America, and the Deaf Ministry at the Apostolic Assembly of Anamosa where she attended church. She was very goal oriented. Sierra earned an academic achievement letter, received a Certified Nursing Assistant certification and worked at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was well on her way to becoming an independent and active young lady in the community.
Family and friends would like to invite you to memorialize this beautiful young lady. Please come and join us in celebrating her life, Sept. 27th, this Saturday which would have been her 17th birthday, by dining together and enjoying an evening of fellowship and camaraderie. Thank you in advance to the Jones County Pork Producers for their help in suppling the sandwiches, and to all who have made donations to help make this event possible. We hope to see you there.
