Revolution Martial Arts Keokuk Karate Tournament

Revolution Martial Arts Karate Results

On August 30, 2008 Revolution Martial Arts traveled to Keokuk, IA to participate in the Eagle Classic Karate Championship Tournament hosted by Mr. Frank Pennington of United Karate Studio. This was the first competition that the Revolution Martial Arts students have competed in since the martial arts school opened earlier this spring.

Revolution Martial Arts is a unique martial arts school located in Cedar Rapids North East side and offers 6 different styles of martial arts to train in including Tang Soo Do, Tai Chi, Wing Chun, Kempo, Jiu Jitsu and Wushu. Students from several different styles attended the tournament to compete. All the students did very well at this tournament, winning the school around 20 trophies ranging from 1st place to 4th place in three different events (forms, weapon forms, point sparring). These events allow the students to demonstrate their knowledge of the martial art they are studying. Students must be able to show focus, balance, concentration and control in each event.

Congratulations to all the students that competed and to the instructors on a job well done.
