The 2008 version of the Offutt AFB "Defenders of Freedom" Airshow was held on Aug 16 and 17 in Omaha, NE as part of Air Force week in the Heartland. The show hosted top of the line military fighters like the F-18 Hornet, A-10 Warthog and F-15 Eagle Demos. And civilian aerobatics by Jill Long, Chandy Clanton, Greg Poe and Tim Weber. and warbirds from WWII, Korea and Vietnam all performing, and to top off Air Force week the United States Air Force Thunderbirds flew to end the show each day.
