Went down Thursday evening to check up on the work being done on the CIC Trestle Rebuild in downtown Cedar Rapids.

The first photo shows the construction team installing a drainage culvert into the river to lay down a path for the dozers working on the river.

Second photo shows a crowd of people near the site watching the action.

Last photo shows some of the debris that has been pulled out of the Cedar River in the last couple weeks. Work on the reconstruction is slated to be completed by September.
