Driving thru C Street SW; seen this house and what someone painted on the front of the house says it all, about the Flood of 2008. The words were "I LOST MY LIFE HERE". All the things they worked for all their life was washed away by the floods. My heart still grieves for those who have lost everything.

May we never forget.

so true peoples homes are gone but the damage is still around us "Gone But Not Forgotten" the flood of 2008. My dad too lost him home he lived since a child. 2008 the year a community came together a grew even stronger

They should asked you to include this pic in the Museum of Art Floods of 2008 exhibit. Very powerfull.
