Tornado on 218 near Van Horne

I was driving down 218 when I saw the tornado start on the Van Horne side of 218, I saw it demolish the buildings and then cross over 218 to the Newhall side. When I realized I was safe, I started video taping it.

That is some incredible footage! So strange to hear the birds as if it were a normally beautiful day, and to see that kind of destruction taking place. Thanks for posting!

that is amazing that you can hear the birds chirping but no thunder, no wind, no lightning visible, it didn't look like it was raining either, but there was a tornado.

No tornadoes in Hiawatha but I saw a LOT of rotation in the clouds. I'm surprised nothing dipped down.
