Due to the current condition of the Ellis Park Area, the Cedar Boat Club has postponed the Fireworks Display normally held on July 3rd. We have concerns for the safety of our viewers due to the current flooding and condition of the park and roads. We have rescheduled the Fireworks Display for August 23rd 2008. In conjunction with the fireworks display we will also be hosting a Venitian Night's Lighted Nighttime Boat Parade. The Cedar Boat Club plans to increase the display of Fireworks for this new date of August 23rd, 08 and with adding the Venitian Nights Lighted Boat Parade it should be a wonderful evening for everybody. Mark your calander and plan to bring the whole family for the parade and the Fireworks Display.

I am also glad we are having it I just can't believe how long it will be until we will see the fireworks!

I went to Mohawk park on the North side of Cedar River and I saw no set up at all. Just a guy fishing in the shade. There is be a boat parade and see no news for either events.
