Due to the safety concerns for the citizens of Cedar Rapids the Cedar Boat Club has posponed the July 3rd Fireworks normally set off at Ellis Park. Due to the conditions of the Ellis Park & Harbor Area we feel it is not safe for those involved. Our New Date will be August 23rd, 2008 in conjunction with a Lighted Nightime Boat Parade on the River. We will be having a Bigger & Better show of Fireworks including New shells not previously seen. Please mark this date on your calander and join us with your families for an evening of excitement by the River.

Has the fireworks event been cancelled for Aug 23rd? or is it on now that the docks will open today? Thanks
