Local Girl Headed to Nationals

Serina Norte, 10, of Manchester is headed to Darrington, Washington later this month to compete in the NFAA (National Field Archery Association) Outdoor National Championship in the Cub Female Freestyle Division. Serina won the Indoor State Championship in March of this year and went on to place 5th at the NFAA Indoor Nationals in Kentucky. On June 2nd, she smashed the record at the ISAA State Outdoor Tournament, making her the State Outdoor Champion. Serina also placed 1st at the NFAA Mid-West Sectionals on June 23rd in Missouri. She is looking to bring home a National Champion title later this month.

Serina lives in Manchester with her mom, stepdad, and little sister. She shoots at Plum Creek Archery with her coach and mentor, Steve Webber.
