The sky got blacker with each minute as a shelf cloud on the leading edge of a gust front approached Hiawatha, Iowa from the NW Friday morning, June 21, 2013. The top image was from 9:04 AM, the bottom at 9:19 AM. These images are panoramic shots from my cell phone. The storm dropped copious amounts of rain and turned the sky inky black as it passed through.
