Fractured Windshield

Fireman Shot At In Kirwood Apt

My father Dan Drexler (a fire captain) was responding to a call in the Kirkwood apts last night and was getting in their fire engine to leave the scene when he heard the windshield crack. The cause was a pellet fired from a bystander on the scene and was targeted for my father's chest. Dan instructed the driver to move the engine out of danger and then called for police backup. The police response to the situation was mild to say the least. There were no searches done or more investigation. I believe with the position my father was in, more investigation to find the individual is needed. If it was a cop that was shot at you know they would have taken it further.
