T-Storm Aftermath in SW Cedar Rapids

This is what I saw this morning as I took my husband to work this morning, on my way home I decided to take a picture of it so then everyone could see how bad it got on the SW side of Cedar Rapids. Where I lived we were without power for an hour and a half and kept seeing Orange and Yellow flashes as lightening hit so we knew something was going on. We knew it was probably due to the winds, but the way we kept seeing the flash, we were afraid that maybe a tornado was going through the SW side of town. As we waited for the sirens to sound last night, they never did & eventually the flashes of orange & yellow stopped. Tonight we are waiting for round 2 of the storms to come in & I don't think this time we will be sitting at home watching it as it gets closer like we did last night.
