How very touching. Crying yet writing this. Comin back end of July to volunteer in the old home town to do whatever I can. I will always be proud to have been raised in Iowa and have countless good memories of Cedar Rapids and her people.

my sister and her family lost almost everything but they still have thier lives and i am so thankful for that. the song reminds me that even though personal possessions may be lost, personal lives, faith and love will never leave.

i don't live in cr but i have family there and feel very affected by all this. i check daily to see how you all are doing and my prayers go out to all who are involved whether by loss or as someone giving a helping hand. keep up the good work.

Thank You. For letting me relize. I didnt have to lose my home. I have both my Brothers that did and I have felt guilty I dont have to fell guilty. I was born and rasied here and Cedar Rapids will always be my Home. I will make it beutiful again.

I too was brough to tears. I feel guilty being high and dry in Cedar Rapids. I will donate time, money, clothes and energy to help CR recover.

i sometimes feel that i wasn't directly affected by the flood even though my inlaws lost most of everything but then as i watched this video i relize i may not have lost my personal belongings but cedar rapids has been my home my whole life god bless
