As I was walking downtown, getting photos of the damage, and came across this scene. A US Flag, ontop of the houseboats, pushed up against the Quaker Oats RR Bridge, pushed against the debris.

If the US Flag can hold on, so can we!

That Flag represents the strength of all effected by this flood. Cedarapidians are strong and determined, and we will rise above this and be a better community for it. We will rebuild the harbor and it will be a better place for everyone.
