This photo was taken early Friday morning, 6/13/08, from my driveway on 13th St.; looking East, down H Ave. NW. There was a peaceful, surreal beauty amidst the undescribable devastation that was being caused by the flood of 2008. This was hours before the crest of the Cedar River, and subsequent drop in water level.
