I was fortunate to have snapped a picture on a flight back to Cedar Rapids in August 2006. I went up last Friday to get a similar picture during the floods. It really gives a perspective of how high the water got.

I am so amazed with these photos. I will be visiting in 2 weeks and these have helped me to see what my city has gone through! All I can say is WOW! And will see you soon CR!

I'm a CR resident and have clicked on all the hundreds of photos in the last week, trying to wrap my brain around what is happening. These two are the BEST I have found. Thank you!
