After watching Cedar Rapids on KCRG-TV 9,
I looked outside, picked up my camera, and began to take a walk. The grass was too water soaked to walk upon, and as I balanced myself
along the tittering sidewalk, I realized Marengo
"had" been affected by the flood. Our street is
over a mile and a half away from a river that runs through the other end of town. Water was bubbling up through new formed cracks in the street. The flood of 2008 had shown Marengo mercy, but left us her calling card to say the least.
